Alpine hiking across lush Alpine meadows in the Kitzbühel Alps
Hiking in the Kitzbühel Alps doesn’t necessarily have to be in a high Alpine environment. Start off on one of the large number of easy, short, yet varied hiking routes. Explore the Steinplatte with its charming Alpine huts, the Buchensteinwand, or the Fieberbrunn hiking area with the idyllic Wildseeloder mountain lake. There are also family-friendly easy walks that are not very steep in the Pillerseetal region, and exciting mountain attractions for children of all ages, making hiking with the family a wonderful experience. Some of the hiking paths are also suitable for pushchairs.
Summit storming in the Tyrolean Alps
Ambitious mountaineers enjoy the diversity of the mountains on various challenging summit tours in the Loferer Steinberge mountains. Whether on your own with a hiking map of the region, or on a led mountain tour with a hiking guide to show you the most beautiful places in our Alps, you can conquer the most beautiful peaks and enjoy breathtaking views of the Tyrolean mountains and neighbouring Salzburg.
Pillerseetal lifts
There are 3 lifts operating in the summer to take you closer to the peaks, and adding a new dimension of enjoyment for the initial vertical metres. The Waidringer Steinplatte, Pillersee Buchensteinwand, and the Fieberbrunn lifts are all open for you in summer.
